‘A family home that truly lives within the view’
The Tulip Tree House project is an exploration of grounded, natural living, designed to create a home that resonates with nature both visually and functionally. At its core, the design embraces seasonal influences and natural materials, ensuring that the interiors feel inherently connected to the surrounding landscape. Every detail has been considered to foster a sense of calm, balance, and harmony throughout the home.
Central to the project is a commitment to design circularity, reusing materials wherever possible and minimising environmental impact. This approach informs every aspect of the home, from structural elements to finishes and furniture, ensuring that sustainability is integrated into the aesthetic and functional framework. The project prioritises longevity and responsible design, creating spaces that are both beautiful and environmentally conscious.
The interiors are conceived as a sensory experience, with careful attention to texture, colour, and light. Large openings, natural finishes, and thoughtfully positioned windows blur the boundary between indoors and outdoors, allowing residents to feel connected to the landscape at every moment. The palette and materials are chosen to reflect the natural environment, enhancing this sense of continuity and creating interiors that are warm, inviting, and timeless.
Every element of the design, from spatial planning and furniture design to lighting and finishes, is carefully curated to maintain balance and harmony. The home offers privacy and inclusivity while supporting everyday life, making it both practical and restorative.
The result is a truly unique and sustainable home that celebrates natural living. By combining thoughtful design, seasonal awareness, and a strong connection to the outdoors, the Tulip Tree House project will demonstrate how a home can simultaneously nurture wellbeing, respect the environment, and offer a modern, functional family lifestyle.
'We Initially only intended to have Robert focus on the interior design but very soon he proved to have an uncomplicated and simple approach that elevated the entire architectural design for the house'
