Design House for Emotive Interiors

design house Services

We take the client through the complete design process, which is defined by efficient coordination and open communication with the client.  As creative thinkers, the interior concept is strongest and works best for the client when involved from the beginning of the project.  From our experience, this ensures that the building and interior have a design consistency and there is a blend of architecture and interior design.

Preliminary Stage – Discovery Meeting

Our first meeting will outline the brief for the project, by listening to your needs and any specific requirements, alongside observations on the building; the space and its location.  We will then present a proposal that outlines what we deliver (our scope of work).  Each project stage has an associated fee and is subject to requirements relative to the brief.

Design Stage

We will create a design concept and space plan to set up the design direction for the project.  We will produce a range of 2d and 3d information alongside materials, mood boards, 3d models and maquettes as required to portray the design best.

Our objective is to produce projects of outstanding quality through coordination with all consultants involved.  As design ambassadors for the project, we know that defining this design direction helps guide all consultants to work collaboratively for the best outcome for our clients and all involved.

Design Development

This stage will run concurrently with any planning permissions, structural and service information.  Coordination will be required and the design development stage ensures this is achieved.  For approval, we will present the product specification information with samples and/or showroom visits, including lighting, sanitary ware, kitchen design, joinery, ironmongery, paint schemes, window dressing and any specialist finishes.

Technical Stage

With approval of the design stages, a set of 2d drawings and a detailed material and product specification will be produced to accompany the project tender and scope of works for the main contractor.

Tender & Construction

With the design and specifications drawn, we work closely with Quantity Surveyors and project managers to answer any questions relative to the design. We will be present at site meetings as required, the contract and project manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the project.

We can implement a holistic design of the home that includes custom-made joinery, kitchens and bathrooms. Through our training, experience and collaborations with skilled crafts people we will design and build these bespoke elements to create beautifully unique interiors. This approach allows us to build to our core values of using natural materials and construction methods that support quality and longevity.

The consideration of space and form continues to be a resonating theme within the design of Roberts architectural furniture. The furniture designs hold an elegance through their simplicity, each piece is considered with a knowledge of space planning and architectural interiors,

Furniture & Accessories

We can offer a full furniture, accessories and art procurement service. Creatively a lot of space planning and creative thinking to steer the design and specification will have happened in the early stages of the project. Importantly the timings of placing orders for the furniture are key to a successful and timely installation coordinated with the main contractor programme.
